HOLLYWOOD STYLES
These are the styles as seen in most of the early western series of the 1950’s & 60’s such as Gunsmoke and the many western films of that era. They mostly consist of a “drop loop” design and are not authentic to the 1880’s as they were developed as a fast draw holster and not really seen until the onset of western movies in Hollywood. The original designs of this type are the “B” Western rigs which can be seen on another page of this site.
Our top of the range Hollywood Fast Draw rig is fully double & stitched full grain cowhide with steel lined pocket and shank. 24 bullet loops.

We can offer many types of hand tooling and carving as well as silver trim on any of our leatherwork.
Tooling can be border designs, full basketweave, etc.
There is a choice of carving patterns from regular floral (pictured left) to more intricate Sheridan floral plus oak leaf & acorn.. We can also add pictures or initials.
